Photography for the enhancement of historical and artistic heritage. The project aims to contribute to the enhancement of an asset through the authorial reinterpretation. To this end, the Monumental Cemetery of Staglieno, in Genoa, offers an extraordinary collection of works, set in a unique period and style. Many works seem to have been inspired by a "photographic" vision, with the artistic intention of wanting to stop the salient moment that can represent, through expressive symbolism, the life, passing and destiny beyond the life of the recipient of the work. The contextual isolation, the selective framing, offers the possibility to pay attention to detail. An attempt to overcome the two-dimensional limit of photography, using the imaginary volumetric reconstruction, through the dosage of light - dark.
